2. Science Fiction Meets Science Fact: Family Trivia

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has a new space object, the Kelvin Pod! Your family can view this iconic prop from the set of Star Trek Beyond and test your knowledge of science fiction vs science fact this Father’s Day at the museum. Entry to this event is included with the admission fee to the museum.

3. Father’s Day Chamber Music Concert

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is performing a special chamber music concert on Father’s Day at the Central Christian Church in downtown Indianapolis. The Andre Previn Trio for oboe, bassoon, and piano will be performed, as well as the Johannes Brahms C minor Quartet for piano and strings. These outstanding chamber music performances are the perfect way to honor Father’s Day. Admission to the concert is free, but donations are encouraged and will benefit future concerts, as well as survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

4. The National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series

Bring chairs, blankets, and soft drinks to the Newfield Amphitheater to watch a movie under the stars this holiday. Two classic movies will be shown the weekend of Father’s Day: Sabrina

(1954), and Hairspray (1988). If your family loves classic movies, the Summer Nights Film Series could be the perfect way to celebrate!
