“Have you done it yet?”
That’s what some of our customers have been asking after Action Air colleague Stephen Landrum not only accepted the ALS Bucket Challenge last month, but went on to challenge our entire team to do the same (you can see him getting soaked on our Facebook page).
Unfortunately, the answer is no, we haven’t done it yet. And we feel kind of bad about it. As good as our intentions have been, we’ve simply been so busy that we haven’t been able to get everyone in the same room at the same time.
But we do have some good news to share. After Stephen posted his video, we received a touching note from long-time client Joyce Kleinman. She expressed her appreciation for the video, as her daughter, Jenni, was diagnosed with ALS five years ago. You can read an Indianapolis Star story about her right here.
Joyce also told us about an amazing event coming up – the Indianapolis Walk to Defeat ALS, to be held at White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis on Sept. 27. So instead of worrying about buckets and ice water, we decided to make a donation in the family’s honor instead.
