Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays, but not just because it’s a time to gather with family and friends to enjoy massive amounts of scrumptious food. That’s wonderful, of course, and who can resist the parades and a football game or two?
There are other big reasons why we enjoy this time of year, and we’d love to share our list with you – the Top Five Reasons to Love Thanksgiving:
Our customers. Thanksgiving is the perfect opportunity to stop and properly express our appreciation for you, our wonderful customers. We truly enjoy helping you, making your home or business more comfortable, and providing you with top-notch service when and where you need it. Thank you for being a part of our lives and trusting us with your heating and air conditioning needs.
Our work family. Family has always been important to us, which is why we pride ourselves on having a team of workers that care about each other (and care about you). Our company history even reflects our emphasis on family in a little-known fact that might surprise you. Owners Kandie and John Dinger actually met in 1978, when a service call sent John to fix Kandie’s furnace. The rest, as they say, is history.
Traditions. Whether it’s pulling the wishbone after a plentiful turkey dinner, gathering around to play board games or support favorite football teams, traditional Thanksgiving activities bring us together. They provide us with valuable memories, lots of laughter, and opportunities to grow closer and share precious time with one another. If you’re curious, you can find out more about some of the most popular Thanksgiving traditions right here.
Holiday attractions. There’s no shortage of things to do over the holidays, no matter what your interests are. The obvious choice is to go shopping, but wow, those crowds can be exhausting. For more ideas, here is a list of some of our favorite things to do this time of year.
The great outdoors. There’s nothing like getting outside and breathing in some fresh air … even when it’s cold outside! Hoosiers are fortunate to have some terrific trails within driving distance, and they’re just waiting for you to go and enjoy them. Check out the list right here.
